When you embarked upon your eternal journey to heaven
Even though you were ready to go
That is something none of us were prepared to accept or know
No shortage of tears poured down our face
For the thought of a world without you was one terribly unhappy place
You blessed us daily with your unending love, laughter, kind spirit and smile
Each of those splendid memories will never leave us, not even for a while
This earth will never be the same without your beautiful blue eyes
Though it sure is comforting to know you'll always be watching over us
From the heavenly skies
Oh, what a great life we have all had -
Being granted the privilege to call you our Husband, Poppy & Dad!
 Dedicated to John Ronan, the B.R.A.I.N. Foundation Founder's father, whose battle with lung and brain cancer ended on 07/15/2007.
